Extravaganza of Colour

I was in London at the weekend.

Well at the Kew gardens to be precise. Where they had what they called “Tropical Extravaganza” , a display of vibrant orchids and and other exotic blooms, and were also raising awareness to the human threats to the rain forest.

We walked into the Princess of Wales conservatory. Outside the temperature was hovering around 5-6 C , and you enter this warm and vibrant world of colour.

Complete with bird song and the the humid and warm atmosphere, there was this fantastic display of colour which simply took my breat away. For about two hours I was in a man made paradise, the smells, the colours and the whole atmosphere was heavenly.

Thought I will share it with those of you who like this kind of thing! Those who are bored my gardening rants, I apologise!
