Am off to South Africa on Monday.A place I have always wanted to visit. So at last I have found a tour. A company which doesn’t charge single supplement ! Often the supplement is almost as much as the price of the tour itself.
The places on the itinerary are;
Cape Town and Table Mountain, the day we arrive.
Cape Peninsula. Hout Bay,with boat trip to Duiker island and the Seal colony,Chapman’s peak,coastal drive,cape Nature reserve and Cape point.
Stellenbosch. Visit to Vineyards ,yummmmm!
Oudtshoorn. A visit to Ostrich farm. And a chance to hand feed them! Not sure about this.
Knysna. Lagoon cruise to featherbed nature reserve and the South Africa’s Garden route, and lunch under the Milkweed trees.
Johannesburg. Tour of Sweto.
Kruger National Park.Rain forest at God’s Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes and Blyde Canyon>
And then we fly back from Johannesburg.
Now am sure there are many of you who have been there ,done that, any tips or advice? Given that am in an organised tour.
Am trying to work my way through the wonders of the world;
So far I have been to , The Pyramids, The Pantheon , Taj Mahal, Leaning tower of Pisa, Rome ,the Eiffel Tower, The Empire State Building, Niagra falls, The Mayan Temple of the Sun and the Moon in Mexico, and of course our own Stonehenge.
Am yet to see the Sydney Opera House, The Golden Bridge and the Grand Canyon, any more anyone?
